Business consulting
We help businesses across Scotland and the UK fix what is broken, build what is missing, and grow what already works. No jargon. Real plans you can act on this quarter.

Biz Integrity Consults started because too many small and mid-sized businesses were paying for advice that sat in a PDF and never got implemented. Our founder spent twelve years inside corporate strategy teams before deciding to bring that rigour to companies that actually needed it.
We work with owner-managed firms, family businesses, and growth-stage startups. Our clients typically have between 5 and 200 employees. They know something needs to change but are not sure where to start, or they have tried internal fixes that did not stick.
Every engagement begins with a 90-minute diagnostic call. We look at your financials, your team structure, and your competitive position before we propose anything. If we cannot help, we say so. That has happened, and we would rather be honest than bill hours we cannot justify.
What we do
We build 12-month and 36-month strategic plans tied to specific revenue targets, margin improvements, and market-share goals. Each plan includes quarterly milestones so you know whether you are on track by week six, not month twelve.
We map your workflows from order to delivery, find the bottlenecks, and redesign the process. One logistics client cut fulfilment time from 4.2 days to 1.8 days after a 10-week engagement. We use time-motion studies, not guesswork.
Cash flow forecasting, cost-structure analysis, pricing model reviews. We have helped businesses recover from negative cash flow within two quarters by restructuring payment terms and renegotiating supplier contracts. No magic, just arithmetic and discipline.
We audit your existing tech stack, identify where manual processes are costing you staff hours, and recommend specific tools with implementation timelines. We do not sell software; we recommend what fits your budget and team size, then help you roll it out.
Hiring the wrong person costs roughly 30% of their annual salary when you factor in recruitment, onboarding, and lost productivity. We design role scorecards, interview frameworks, and retention programmes so you hire right the first time and keep the people you train.
Thinking about expanding into a new region or launching a second product line? We run feasibility studies that include competitor mapping, pricing sensitivity analysis, and channel-partner identification. You get a go/no-go recommendation backed by data, not enthusiasm.
How it works
We spend the first week inside your numbers: P&L, balance sheet, customer acquisition costs, churn rates. We interview key team members to understand what the spreadsheet does not show.
We present a findings report with three to five priority actions ranked by impact and effort. You choose which to pursue. No 80-page decks; our reports are typically 8 to 12 pages.
We work alongside your team to implement changes. That might mean sitting in on sales calls, rebuilding a pricing spreadsheet, or facilitating a restructure conversation. We do the work with you.
At the 90-day mark we review results against the targets we set in step two. If something is not working, we adjust. You get a final scorecard showing exactly what changed and by how much.
Common questions
Most projects run between 8 and 16 weeks. Strategy work tends to be shorter because it is research-heavy upfront. Operational redesigns take longer because we stay through implementation. We scope every project individually and agree on a fixed timeline before we start.
Both. Startups usually come to us for go-to-market strategy and financial modelling. Established businesses typically need help with efficiency, scaling, or entering new markets. The diagnostic call helps us figure out whether we are the right fit regardless of your stage.
The first 90-minute diagnostic call is free. After that, we send a proposal with a fixed fee for the agreed scope. We do not bill hourly because it creates the wrong incentive. You pay for outcomes, not for time spent in meetings.
About 70% of our work happens remotely via video calls and shared documents. For operational projects, we schedule on-site days to observe workflows and talk to frontline staff. We are based in Scotland and travel across the UK when a project requires it.
We have deep experience in professional services, e-commerce, light manufacturing, and hospitality. That said, our methods are transferable. The diagnostic call will tell us quickly whether your industry has nuances that require a specialist we do not have.
